Finland, the UK, the US -- Opportunities for Colorado

Val's Take

          I first heard about Open Dialogue from Colorado Mental Health Advocate Extraordinaire Amy Smith.
           Since that time it has taken off in the United Kingdom and is being pioneered in the US, both in Massachusetts and Georgia.
           The University of Massachusetts Medical School is preparing the Open Dialogue approach for implementation in the US.

​           It seems like there would be some opportunities for Colorado, maybe the University of Colorado as well as the State and peer groups to collaborate with the University of Massachusetts Medical School to bring this approach to Colorado.
